The manufacturer of well-known medical brands such as Kamillosan, generously donated over 6 million tablets of Dymotil, the anti-diarrhoea medication, in July 2008.

If left untreated, as is often the case in the developing world, diarrhoea can cause fatal dehydration and is one of the most common, yet easily treatable causes of childhood mortality.

The donation was dispatched to Feed The Children community programmes in Uganda, where the tablets will help relieve the immediate suffering of over 300,000 people, giving them a real chance to improve their lives.

At the same time, our 12 new water boreholes are providing the long term solution; safe, clean drinking water.
