Following the devastation of the tsunami on Boxing Day, 2004, Feed The Children was quick to launch an emergency appeal, and donated goods were soon flowing into our warehouses.

The suffering was especially acute in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, close to the epicentre of the undersea earthquake.

Four 26-tonne shipping containers of essential goods such as food, water filtration kits, blankets, clothing and educational materials were soon on their way to homeless families.

Feed The Children provides emergency relief in disaster situations, as well as long-term support to regular projects around the world.

Thanks to the support of our generous donors, we are able to react quickly to disaster situations.

Following the tsunami, We also sent emergency supplies to Sri Lanka.
